2nd Annual POW! Photography Contest - Show Us Your Florida

Ah spring and summer are just around the corner, and this year our photography contest is looking for your idea and pics entitled Show Us Your Florida!

If you have any pics that you would like to send us showing us your idea of the Sunshine State - send them in. Pics can be of palm trees, beaches, cities, family member, pets having fun, scenic scenes, tranquil, DisneyWorld, whatever Florida means to you. Family audience pics please. Hey a pic is worth a 1000 words, show us that. The winning pic will be displayed here on our website and then will be used as the main picture for our A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words contest for our writers to make up stories from starting in Mid April. Yeah, they have to be able to submit a 1000 word story from looking at your winning picture. So c'mon be creative!

Open to everyone, all ages. All we need is a good high definition JPEG pic sent to us to enter.

POW! MEMBERS: Free!

Non-POW! Members - $10.00 per entry

PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES!

1st Place - $100 cash or a POW! Silver Membership ($100 value your choice of mula or membership).

Your pic displayed on our website and it will be used for our A Picture Is Worth a 1000 Words Contest

Entries start - 2/12/08

Entry deadline - 3/30/08

Pic must be your own. No copying somebody elses, no watermarked pics. Clear high definition 300 and above DPI, send in JPEG form. Entries online only. E-mail entries to: Caryn@pow100.com, Subject line - Show Us Your Florida contest.

Judges will be POW! member photography professionals AND we will take the top 5 pics and let EVERYONE vote online for their favorite starting 3/31/08 with the grand winner being selected and announced 4/5/08! So if you are selected to be in the top 5 get people to E-mail in votes for you!
